Es una réplica natural del hueso autólogo, Gen-Os conserva la misma estructura íntima (matriz y forma porosa) y se caracteriza por una elevada osteoconductividad. Es biocompatible y biodisponible, como demuestran los test desarrollados según el método ISO 10993 efectuados por la Universidad de los Estudios de Turín.
Gen-Os se reabsorbe gradualmente y asegura una acción de soporte para la formación ósea, contribuyendo a preservar la forma y el volumen del injerto original (propiedad osteoconductiva).
Además, gracias a su contenido de colágeno, el producto facilita la formación del coágulo hemático y la consiguiente invasión de las células reparadoras y regeneradoras, favoreciendo la completa "restitución e integración" del déficit óseo. |

Cirugía oral: granulomas, quiste odontogénico, procedimientos de split crest.
Periodoncia: relleno de defectos infraóseos profundos y bifurcaciones.
Implantología: relleno universal utilizado en tratamientos de dehiscencias y de perimplantitis, defectos a dos paredes, en procedimientos de elevación del seno con acceso lateral y crestal. Si es necesario, el injerto con Gen-Os puede ser estabilizado mezclándolo con OsteoBiol Gel 0 y protegido con la colocación de membranas OsteoBiol o de con Lámina Cortical OsteoBiol. |
